Saruke is a gathering curated by Sarah and Luke, shaped by music, community, and connection.
It is designed as an intentional weekend away. A place where the calm of the forest settles the mind, nourishing food sustains the body, music stirs the senses, and connection feeds the soul.
Built around warmth, hospitality, and sound, the experience moves between rest and release: from soft afternoons and shared meals to the heights of dancefloor energy.
Our Dancefloor
Far removed from the pace of everyday life, we gather in a warm, woodfire-heated hall. Part dancefloor, part lounge, Saruke is a comfortable, thoughtfully curated space, designed to meet you wherever your body and mind feel drawn.
The space invites you to settle in. Whether that’s stretched out on a couch, deep in conversation, gathered around one of the coonara’s or moving freely on the dancefloor.
Our Communal Kitchen
Flowing from the main hall and dancefloor, a shared kitchen is accessible for moments of nourishment and connection, whether it’s brewing a morning coffee, preparing fuel for the day, or fixing a drink to carry back to the dancefloor.
When Nature call
Multiple toilet blocks are located across the site, just a short stroll from the dancefloor and close to the campgrounds. There’s also a shower block, because comfort matters, even off-grid.
When Rest Beckons
A short stroll from the dancefloor, the landscape opens into a quiet place to land.
Campers can settle in amongst the trees, with ample space for tents, vans, and caravans. For those seeking a little extra comfort, a cosy shared dorm offers a warm and restful retreat.
At the heart of Saruke.
Across the weekend, sound unfolds as a journey, not a lineup.
Expect soulful afternoons carried by live music, vinyl sets that invite deep groove and evenings that build into the energy of the dancefloor.
There are no headliners and no egos, just a community of deeply talented friends and creators sharing the music they love, and the sounds moving them right now.
Fuel for the weekend.
Each day, we come together over a shared meal - all included in your ticket.
Friday kicks things off with a hearty dinner to ground us before the dancefloor calls.
Saturday is all about grazing, think picky bits, tasty bites, and food made for sharing.
Sunday, we take it slow with a laid-back, feel-good brunch.
Tea and coffee will be flowing all weekend. Everything else is BYO.
The kitchen stays open outside of meal times - perfect for snacks, drinks, and those classic bench-side chats.
We’re big on good energy and low on tolerance for anything that disrupts it. No unwanted attention, no ego, no poor behaviour. Consent is non-negotiable.
Saruke is a space to be yourself - freely and without judgement. Move with respect, awareness, and care for those around you, so everyone can settle in and feel at home.
Whether you’re happiest under canvas or craving a little extra comfort, there’s plenty of space to settle in for the weekend.
